We chose Group 1 for the following reasons:
- Identified our identity crisis (being lumped in with DeVry, ITT Tech, etc.)
- Nice theme carried throughout: The Art Institute of Dallas gives you the TOOLS – what will you do with them? (call to action)
- Clever and humorous ads for all
programs, still relevant to them
Group 2: nice conceptual theme. Might help to see a few program-specific examples.
Group 3: we liked the idea of a bonding experience. Nice idea about leaving the assembly line - but it was tough to picture without a visual exampleGroup 4: Liked the ad, use of “art”. Where was the wooden man?
Group 5: Creative theme and posters!
Basically, we were impressed with all five groups – they worked very hard in a week and it showed. Interesting to see how they “solved” the problem of our advertising, since they are the target demographic and revealed to us what would catch their eye.
Thanks!

ASSIGNMENT:
Please review the attached file from Group One and reformulate your approach based on the theme they have selected. Be creative and inspired -- your ideas do not have to be carbon copies of those proposed by Group One but should reflect the theme and fit well across all of the departments. We will review your revised ideas in class Week Three. Be prepared to present your ideas visually to the instructors (don't just tell us -- show us your ideas).
Once again, Thank you for your hard work and professionalism. We felt each group did an excellent job and brought strong well conceptualized ideas to the table.
