EACH GROUP MUST MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING ITEMS IN THE FINAL SPOTS:
BOB -- Make sure that BOB is featured in a unique and visible manner within the body of the spot. BOB is a primary element that was selected to create continuity and he must be visible within each spot.
TOOLS -- Make sure that the appropriate TOOLS for each program are represented – Do not use TOOLS that are out dated or are not currently being used by the industry being represented. The TOOLS must enhance the program and help to show it in a positive, exciting and enticing manner.
LOGO -- Make sure that the school LOGO is properly and distinctly featured throughout the spot. The final screen will carry the statement "The Art Institute of Dallas will provide you with the tools, what will you do with them?” BOB and the school's LOGO but the LOGO must still be visible within the individual spot.
COLORS -- Use the assigned COLOR in a sophisticated manner within the individual spot. Make sure that the COLOR is feature somewhere or on something that helps to make a connection to the established color system.
CALL TO ACTION –- Each piece should reflect a clear and appropriate CALL TO ACTION. The spots should encourage -- CALL TO ACTION -- the viewer to take action after watching the piece and the desired action should be clearly defined within the body of each spot.
THEME/STORY –- Make sure that the spot has a clearly defined THEME/STORY that can be easily understood and entertaining. The spot must have a clearly defined Beginning – Middle – End. The action must move the viewer through the piece and the THEME/STORY keep them entertained enough to watch the entire piece.
FORMAT -- Each spot should be shot, edited and packaged in the correct FORMAT for display on the web and/or through email. All of the spots and the overall style and FORMAT must support the selected mode of distribution.
QUALITY – Each spot must be a complete, well-edited, well-shot and overall QUALITY piece worthy of public display for the final client review by WEEK 11. No additional work should be required to prepare the spot for distribution or public display upon completion. Any group that fails to create a QUALITY and complete spot for the final client review WEEK 11 will NOT receive a passing score for the work.
ANY SPOT, THAT IS PRESENTED AT THE FINAL CLIENT REVIEW WEEK 11, AND FAILS TO INCLUDE THESE ELEMENTS AND FEATURES WILL BE DEEMED INCOMPLETE AND WILL NOT RECEIVE A PASSING SCORE. ALL SPOTS HAVE BEEN ASSIGNED AS GROUP WORK AND THEREFORE ALL OF THE GROUP MEMBERS FINAL AVERAGES WILL BE UNIFORMLY AFFECTED.
